Luke is just like any other teen: he goes to school, has a part time job in a grocery. He also belongs to a clique, a good one at that. He is infatuated with Laura, the cheer leader. He would often watch her practice in the gym every afternoon before he goes to work. Luke is just like any other teen except for one thing, he is very computer savvy.

Everyday, Luke would face the computer like there is no tomorrow. He loves to play on line games. Day in, day out, Luke spends the day playing without really minding about his assignments or readings. Even his friends can not stop him from playing games in the computer. For Luke, the world revolves around the games he play.

One day he took an exam in chemistry. All his classmates seemed to know just what to do and what to answer. After the exam, everyone sighed with happiness because the exam was easy except Luke. Luke thought the exam was horrible! He exclaimed that it was not at all EASY! As expected, everyone passed and aced the exam except for one but Luke.

His friends were worried about him. They know he is an intelligent and diligent student. They know that he could have also aced the exam because chemistry is his favorite subject. He is anything but a genius when it comes to chemistry! In fact, his teacher was also shocked of what happened to his last exam. He expected better from Luke.

His friends know of the reason why he is acting that way. They know that it is his being so inclined with on line games that kept him so destructed from his studies. Upon knowing this, Laura volunteered to talk to him hoping he would listen.

Later on that day, Laura talked to Luke. She asked about a problem he could have not addressed. Laura said he could tell her all that he wants to say. So Luke told her that she can not find the time to study anymore because he is always playing on line games. Laura feels for him because she knows it is not easy to balance one's time. She also found it hard to balance her cheer leading and her studies.

Then she handed out a compact disk to Luke. Educational software was written in the cover. She told Luke to install it in his computer and browse through it instead of playing on line games.

Luke kind of wondered why Laura gave her the disk but then he followed her instructions. He was surprised that the educational software is a great way to make studying less of an effort for him. There was a note in the disk that reads: Luke, this educational software helped me so much when I found it hard to study because the cheer leading team was busy preparing for a competition.
