Car hire companies have lasted many recessions and even the great depression in the United States during their history. Even so the current economic climate has worried some in the industry, to the extent that some of the larger car hire firms are in fact axing jobs and securing fleets in new and interesting ways. Additionally the current financial difficulties are dramatically changing the habits of customers.

Energy prices are continuing to increase as the global demand for fossil fuels increases, the US Dollar falls in value, and our limited refining capacity is regularly disrupted by hurricanes and flooding.

Up until about the '60s and '70s, women's undergarments were made to serve a few different functions or purposes, none of them being sensuality or femininity. Learning the history of lingerie should make any woman thankful to have been born during this particular time. A time when ideas regarding the female form and women in general have morphed so drastically from just a century ago, and the changes in lingerie have certainly reflected this.

I read a post recently where a real estate agent was posting about whether they should leave the real estate profession. The market had slowed in their area and their income stream had decreased rapidly. They worried that if the market didn't pick up soon, they would have difficulty making mortgage payments. It certainly seemed sensible to me.

I remember back to the days when I was a boy. My family lived in a two story house and my bedroom was in the corner of the basement with no windows. My parents resided on the main floor. I remember sleeping upstairs on the couch until I was about ten years old. Why, because I was afraid to sleep in my own room. I can't really remember what I was afraid of or what finally motivated me to move to my own bed but I know that it was an irrational fear. I think the gun haters have an irrational fear of guns prompting them to attempt to eliminate the perceived threat through gun control legislation.

Have you recently been plagued by telemarketers pestering you at all hours of the day and night? Well, if you have been you are definitely not alone. These sales people have become a big thorn in the sides of a lot of people because they call us at home, uninvited, many times by folks that we can not even understand, about some product or sales package that we have never heard of, and usually are not remotely interested in.
