There are numerous decorative concrete techniques that are used today, such as engraving, stamping and exposed aggregate. While structural concrete has no real need for any of these techniques, it can be very beneficial for walkways, driveways and patios in homes, businesses and public areas from an aesthetic point of view. There are concrete contractors who specialize in these techniques who can create fanciful designs in new and existing concrete slabs.
