Mount Laurel Township is a mid-sized town of about 40,000 people in Burlington County, New Jersey; the county sits on the southern side of New Jersey's "crook," and the township lies on the northwestern side of the county. It was officially named a township by the state legislature on March 7th, 1872, but its history certainly precedes this recognition by the state.

A flack jacket is a form of protective clothing in the design of a vest. It is used to provide protection from shrapnel and other indirect low velocity projectiles. The flack jacket was originally developed by the Wilkinson Sword company during World War II to help protect the Royal Air Force air personnel from flying debris and shrapnel. The jacket consisted of manganese plates sewn into a waistcoat made of ballistic nylon- a material engineered by the DuPont Company. The flak jackets ended up being too bulky for wear within the confines of the RAFs standard bomber aircraft. The RAF subsequently offered the jackets to the United State Army Air Forces, who adopted them as a Defense Standard.

Bonfire Night, otherwise known as Guy Fawkes Night, Cracker Night or Fireworks Night is a celebration which occurs every year on the evening of the 5th of November. It celebrates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of the 5 November 1605 in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including a man named Guy Fawkes, attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London, England.

We all came out of Africa, and we fanned out in different directions, taking on character features such as lighter skin for more sun the further north, and somehow golden features in the middle east, which later ran over into the Americas.
