The new MLS expansion team, the Seattle Sounders FC, got a boost after the first games of the season when their forward, Fredy Montero, was awarded the league's first Player of the Week for this season. He was awarded the honor after he scored two goals and one assist as the Seattle Sounders FC overcame the New York Red Bulls in the opening game of the season. The Major League Soccer Player of the Week is chosen by The North American Soccer Reporters (NASR), which is a group of print, television, radio and online media. I remembered walking around the nice Perth City appreciating the beautiful cold weather there, my eyes glanced intensely upon the sight of a book store. With my affection for reading, I walked in with great anticipation. My eyes were wide opened when I saw pictures of my favorite player, Zinedine Zidane. Zidane or Zizou is the player who I felt shows great exemplary of wonderful skills that can be found on the streets and transferred it to the field.

Soccer riots have always been something of a mystery. The violence in hockey is at least reconcilable. Grown men in heavy outfits skating at high speeds with sharp blades on their feet create enough tension and energy to start a brawl in a hurry. In baseball, a hard leather ball thrown 100 mph at your head can understandably make you want to charge the mound. But soccer? Even the game happens at a slow pace and hardly inspires more than focused concentration on the field itself. American commentators jokingly portray the reason for soccer riots as its low-scoring low key nature. They often say "after paying almost $100 for seats and fighting the crowds to see two teams play an entire match an end in a 0-0 tie, you might riot too." However, to the rest of the world, soccer riots are no laughing matter.
