Without the universe (IT) there is nothing for the (I) to experience. The (I) would be floating in awareness, observing a timeless awareness – aware of nothing else. If there was no (I) would the (IT) even exist? If the universe is really just fluctuating energy waves it is our brain that converts them into observable, experiential matter.
